ABOUT FILLED TO EMPTY
When Pastors Michael and Carrie Rogers were asked to plant a church in Ardmore, Oklahoma, they knew God was calling them to more than a better Sunday gathering. Calling their mission The Jar Ministries was the first step to widening their vision. Little did they know. “Filled to empty” began as a way to describe The Jar’s commitment to creating disciple-makers.
We are filled by God with His Spirit, His love, grace, truth, and everything He is, but not so that we can live better lives. God fills us with Himself so that we can be emptied for the people around us: those who are already Believers and those who are not yet Believers.
As The Jar began regular gatherings, God provided unexpected opportunities in book publishing, podcasting, radio, and television. As the reach of the ministry grew, they wanted to make sure they separated the two. Called to Ardmore first, they decided to sponsor Filled To Empty as The Jar Ministries and to fund The Jar Ministries through Filled To Empty.
Each of them honoring the Gospel of Christ, each filled to be emptied for the other.

A Jesus follower, husband, and father of four great kids, Michael Rogers is passionately pursuing the next revival. He is a veteran church leader–from deacon to Lead Pastor over the last seventeen years–helping grow established churches, revitalize stagnant churches, and, most recently, planting a new kind of church in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
A graduate of Liberty University (B.S. in Religion) and Cincinnati Christian University (Masters in Religion with an emphasis on Pastoral Leadership), Michael is a lifelong learner. He loves teaching, writing, hiking, and really
bad Dad jokes.

PURPOSE
Pastor Michael knew he was frustrated with the church, so he asked God what he should do about it. God responded with one word: “Repent.” The first season navigates a practical way forward both inside and outside today’s institution of church.
